Flight back to Prague, detour to Zurich, Switzerland

So my flight left at 6 in the morning. I get off the plane it's like 8am now. I go up the desk window and ask the lady if there is any earlier flights to Prague and she said no that the 12:30 one I was on is the earliest. I was like bummer what to do for 4 hours. She was like go around Zurich. I was like that sounds awesome. She gave me a map and how to purchase a train ticket. It was Sunday so it was pretty dead but it was nice to walk around here are some photos. I was worried since my phone had died and I didn't have a clock that I might miss my plane. Boy was I wrong there were sooooo many clock towers and buildings with clocks every where there would be no reason to not know what time it was in Zurich.

Then I head back to the airport. Got a little lost but that was ok I still had enough time. I bought some Swiss chocolate-SO GOOD. I wish I bought more! Then on the bus back to Prague I got a cheese sandwich and a glass of wine and they give free chocolate! I felt so classy!! Then I finally got into Prague I was so happy to be back!

Delphi, Greece

The hostel that I was staying at proved a tour of Delphi for 50 Euro and that included the bus, lunch and entrance in which I think was a little annoying since I would have gotten in for free anyway, but the Delphi was really pretty. Our tour guide told us about some of the myths and legends on the bus since he wasn't allowed in the museum.

Then I cam back to the hostel and dropped of my stuff since Parmenion and Katya were taking me back to the hospital to have my finger looked at. My finger was fine healing well and I didn't need to wear a bandage any more. I got some medicine to put on it to help it heal and keep from getting infected. Then we went out for dinner and we had a huge meal.

Then I said good bye and thank you to Parmenion and Katya. They were very kind and generous. The dropped me off at the bus station so I didn't have to walk there with my luggage and then I was off to the airport at 1 in the morning. Since my plane was leaving at 6am and day light saving started that night/day at 3am and I was losing an hour.

Review for the hostel. It was ok standard hostel. I stayed in an all female 6 person room. It was nice it had it's own bathroom. They had tiny lockers, locks not provided but they still fit my carry on size luggage. The beds weren't that comfortable but they weren't horrible. The free breakfast there was a joke. It was toast with jam, butter or cream cheese and hard boiled eggs everyday. The people working the desk were friendly and knowledgeable. The hostel let you keep your stuff in the side room at the hostel for the rest of the day after you had checked out free of charge which was nice since I had an early flight Sunday morning so I checked out on Saturday morning and kept my stuff there and waited around in the lounge till it was time to leave.

3 Island Cruise (Hydra, Poros, minus Aegina)

So I booked to go on a 3 Island Cruise with Jenny. She ran into two people that she went to high school with also going on the cruise-small world. This other guy Thomas from the hostel I was staying at was also going so we had to be at the bus stop at like 6 something in the morning. Then we got on the boat I ordered a coffee and a croissant.

The first island that we went to was Hydra. Hydra was really cool. They did not have cars on the islands they rode donkeys!! It was very calm quite island. I think there was more people on the boat touring the island than people that actually populated the island.

Then we got back on the boat and headed to the second island, Poros. They provided complimentary lunch which wasn't bad.

Then we finally arrived to the island of Poros. Poros had a nice little town and church. I found a museum so I went there and explored.

WORST ICE CREAM EVER..i have no idea what is was but it was gross

Then I headed back to the dock where the cruise boat was suppose to be but I couldn't find it so I wondered and came the realization the boat left with out me. I freaked out and didn't know what to do so I ask some of the people on the boat but no one really spoke English. This one guy was like you need to go the flying dolphin place and get on the next boat. I tried to follow his directions but I couldn't find the place. I run into the guy again and he asks if everything is ok and I tell him I couldn't find the place. He takes me to the police station where they contact my boat they tell me they aren't going to turn around and that I need to buy a ticket to get back to the port in Athens. So we go to the flying dolphin and I try to tell them I want to go to Aegina but they were like we don't go there only to the port in Athens. She was like that is only to be 22 euro. I had the money but I didn't feel like spending that much when I had already spent 79 euro for the cruise so I just started crying and saying I didn't have the money. The lady called up some guy and said I could go for half the price (11 euro) so I did that. I was pretty upset that I missed the third island though. I also had to take the metro home since I wasn't on the cruise ship to get the free transportation back to the hostel which was a bummer. My friend Jenny that I went with was freaking out and was very relieved to find I had made it back to the hostel.

I was in the main room talking to Walter, the guy at the front desk, and this other chick was hungry and he was giving her directions to this gyro place which he sucks at giving. Meanwhile talking to these other chicks about getting cheap dinner together. We decided on getting dinner Smile and I was like we should invite the other chick so I ran after her and finally met up with her and told her we were getting dinner at this other place if she wanted to join. She said yes so right as I got back to the hostel the other girls were getting ready to leave. So we left. I had moussaka which a meat and eggplant layered dish which was very tasty. Then since none of us had tried ouzo which is the traditional drink in Greece we decide to do so. So you pour half a glass with the ouzo which is clear then had ice and water and it turns this frothy white color. The taste of it was interesting; I am not a huge fan of black liquorish so I didn't really like it.

After dinner I went back to the hostel and went to bed early since I had to be up early since I was going on a day trip to Delphi the next morning.
